இளநிலை மருத்துவ படிப்புகளுக்கு நடத்தப்படும் நீட் தேர்வில் கேட்கப்படும் கேள்விகளுக்கான பாடதிட்டங்களை தேசிய மருத்துவ ஆணையம் வெளியிட்டுள்ளது.
நாடு முழுவதும் அரசு மற்றும் தனியார் மருத்துவக் கல்லூரிகளின் எம்பிபிஎஸ், பிடிஎஸ் படிப்புகள், சித்தா, ஆயுர்வேதா, யுனானி, ஓமியோபதி படிப்புகள்
மற்றும் கால்நடை மருத்துவப் படிப்பின் அகில இந்திய ஒதுக்கீட்டு இடங்கள் நீட் தேர்வில் தகுதி பெறுபவர்களைக் கொண்டு நிரப்பப்படுகிறது. அதேபோல், ராணுவ கல்லூரிகளில் பிஎஸ்சி நர்சிங் படிப்புக்கான மாணவர் சேர்க்கைக்கு நீட் தேர்வு கட்டாயமாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்த நீட் தேர்வை தேசிய தேர்வுகள் முகமை (என்டிஏ) ஆண்டுதோறும் நடத்தி வருகிறது.
நீட் தேர்வில் 180 கேள்விகள் கேட்கப்படும். ஒவ்வொரு கேள்விக்கும் தலா 4 மதிப்பெண்கள் வீதம் மொத்தம் 720 மதிப்பெண்களுக்கு தேர்வு நடைபெறுகிறது. தாவரவியல் மற்றும் விலங்கியலை உள்ளடக்கிய உயிரியல் பாடத்தில் இருந்து 360 மதிப்பெண்களுக்கும், இயற்பியல் மற்றும் வேதியியலில் தலா 180 மதிப்பெண்களுக்கும் கேள்விகள் இடம்பெறும். தவறான பதிலுக்கு 1 மதிப்பெண் (நெகட்டிவ்) குறைக் கப்படும்.

Kind reference is invited to the Under Graduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB) Public Notice of even number dated 22-12-2025 (copy enclosed) pertaining to above subject matter being self-explanatory inter-alia advising all the stakeholders to refer to the updated syllabus for NEET(UG)- 2026 for the preparation of the study material and for preparation of NEET (UG) examinations for academic session 2026-27.
2. Accordingly, all Stakeholders & aspirants for Examination of NEET UG, 2026 are requested to take note of the same for necessary action on their part. The official syllabus for NEET (UG) - 2026 was released by the National Medical Commission (NMC) on December 23, 2025. It remains aligned with the NCERT Class 11 and 12 curriculum and consists of a total of 79 chapters across three subjects.
Physics Syllabus (20 Units)
The Physics section focuses on conceptual clarity and numerical problem-solving across the following major units:
Class 11: Physics and Measurement, Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Work, Energy and Power, Rotational Motion, Gravitation, Properties of Solids and Liquids, Thermodynamics, Kinetic Theory of Gases, Oscillations and Waves.
Class 12: Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Magnetic Effects of Current and Magnetism, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Currents, Electromagnetic Waves, Optics, Dual Nature of Matter and Radiation, Atoms and Nuclei, Electronic Devices, and Experimental Skills.
Chemistry Syllabus (20 Units)
Chemistry is divided into Physical, Organic, and Inorganic branches:
Physical Chemistry: Some Basic Concepts of Chemistry, Atomic Structure, Chemical Bonding, Chemical Thermodynamics, Solutions, Equilibrium, Redox Reactions, Electrochemistry, and Chemical Kinetics.
Inorganic Chemistry: Classification of Elements, p-Block Elements (Groups 13-18), d and f Block Elements, and Coordination Compounds.
Organic Chemistry: Basic Principles and Techniques, Hydrocarbons, Organic Compounds Containing Nitrogen, Biomolecules, and Principles Related to Practical Chemistry. Biology Syllabus (10 Units)
Biology carries the highest weightage (360 marks) and is strictly NCERT-based:
Class 11: Diversity in Living World, Structural Organisation in Animals and Plants (includes Frog), Cell Structure and Function, Plant Physiology, and Human Physiology.
